Founder and Initiator of the “W Jak Wolność” Campaign
Nicola Redlińska is the founder and initiator of the “W Jak Wolność” social campaign, dedicated to preserving the memory of the heroes of Polish history, particularly the Warsaw Uprising insurgents and those who fought for the freedom of Poland.
For several years, she has been actively involved in social and patriotic initiatives, organizing projects dedicated to commemorating Polish heroes and caring for places of remembrance. Through her work, she combines historical education, volunteer engagement, and concrete action aimed at preserving the memory of those who came before us.
The “W Jak Wolność” campaign was created from her desire to turn remembrance into meaningful action. Its initiatives include commemorative activities at graves and memorial sites, educational projects, and events that encourage others-particularly younger generations-to become actively involved in preserving historical memory.
Her social and patriotic work is also shaped by her experience of serving her country. This experience forms an important part of her personal journey and strengthens her belief in the importance of responsibility, remembrance, and civic engagement.
In recognition of her work in preserving historical memory and her patriotic commitment, she has received, among other distinctions, the “Dumni z Powstańców” (“Proud of the Insurgents”) award and the Silver Honorary Badge of IOWVM.
