On October 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM, we will meet at the main entrance of Bródno Cemetery in Warsaw to begin the 5th edition of the “W Jak Wolność” initiative.
As every year, we will search for and clean the graves of Home Army soldiers, light candles and pay tribute to those who fought for a free Poland. 🇵🇱
We believe that remembering our heroes should not be limited to history books. Sometimes it takes very little cleaning an overlooked grave, lighting a candle and taking a moment to remember the person whose name is engraved on the stone.
🧹 WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?
We will provide the most important supplies, but if possible, please bring:
* a bucket,
* gloves,
* brushes or other tools for cleaning graves,
* any other supplies that may help with the work.
You do not need to bring everything yourself. The most important thing is your willingness to help and to remember those who came before us. 🤍❤️
